This entire site is undergoing complete re-construction as of 4/23/15 & will probably take quite a while
Yep, it's taking a while ! This is 6/25/16 ! ! !
No idea it would take this long ! It's now March 8,2017
Guess what -- here we are in Sept of 2019. Just getting ready to start on this again - maybe I should say "hopefully" start LOL
Here I am again about to start over April 5, 2021
Do you think I'll get back to it this time. We just went thru the Covid-19 year long lock-down --------- It's really knocked the slats out from under me. I'm thinking that maybe if I start a pretty page full of my flowers from many years , that might help me get back to my old self --- but who knows I will be 84 in just 4 more days ! So hard to believe ! ! !
Hi There Seniors----------------- I don't know about the rest of you, but I,for one, plan to stay as active & mentally alert as I possibly can on my way to 100 ! (I'll probably get hit by a truck or something before I get there ! :)
I have found that working on my computer (I use Yola to build my site) by learning new ways to set up & work a web site like this or doing the same thing on FaceBook, keeps my aging brain much younger. Both of these endeavors seemed almost impossible at first but I found by taking just one tiny step at a time, it all started coming together. Since I am on a very limited income this is great for me since it's all free. If you click on the yellow Yola it will take you to the Yola site. Just click where the red box says - "start building for free". A page will open to show all the step by step instructions for setting up your own site. Even if it is just something for yourself or your family, it really is a fun way to keep your mind alert.
On this new re-worked site, you'll see I'm a great fan of flower & animal photos, gardening, crocheting, funny videos & a lot of other stuff. I take a lot of photos of my yard & pets. All the art work of people, animals, flowers, cute little quips, quotes & some stories, I collect from the net. It's so very easy to copy & paste them to your own PC, laptop, notebook or whatever tech you may have plus I find it great fun just to see what I am able to find.
